Hoop Yoga Flow for Throat (Vishuddha) Chakra

Note: Feel free to use the exercises below with a rope, staff or stick. Also, simply performing them as natural yoga asanas is just as excellent.
Anatomical Region: Throat, Thyroid Area
Purpose: Communication, Self-Expression, Truth
Helps eliminate or reduce fear to express, lying to self and others, nervousness
• Lotus Pose • Seating Cat/Cow • Arm Twists • Boat Pose & Variations • Staff Pose • Upward Plank Pose • Fish Pose & Variations • Shoulder Stand • Plow Pose • Bridge Pose • Reclining Wide Angle Pose Abdominal Exercise •
Sit comfortably with your spine straight. Stare 20 seconds at the chakra image below. Close your eyes and continue to visualize the image throughout the duration of this meditation. Steady your breath, and begin to chant the mantra "HAM" during each exhalation. Direct the vocals to vibrate the sound only at the region of the throat/thyroid area. To do this, you might have to contract the throat slightly to get an effective vibration. Continue this rhythm for 3- 5 minutes or for as long as it pleases you. Optional meditation music here
